TO COMPLY WITH GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES AND TO MINIMISE THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS THE VILLAGE HALL IS CLOSED FOR ALL ACTIVITIES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Welcome to the new website of
Grateley Parish Council
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. On the following pages you will find out all about our village and the people who live here. Whether you are a local, an ex-resident, or an interested visitor please have a look around and feel free to contact us with your comments or queries.
Following in the footsteps of the two previous award winning incarnations of the Grateley website; Grateley Parish Council have now taken over the design, maintenance and updating of the village site.
Our remit in producing this site is to keep it simple and to ensure that regular updates are made to the Parish Council Minutes pages and the Village News page.
Using a web based editing package we have taken some of the popular aspects from the previous websites and included them in the following pages. Visitors can still see Michael Longyear's history of the village and also browse through the old photos section in the Gallery.
We regard this new website to be an ongoing project that will grow to be an invaluable resource for local people and a mine of information for visitors. As a consequence some of the pages are still sparse in content which shall be rectified over time. We would like to hear from groups who wish to be included in the Clubs and Societies pages and welcome feedback of comments, suggestions or even criticisms.
